Nigeria
Previously on The Amazing Race,
9 teams raced to the grand country of Nigeria. In Port Harcourt, some team tried Indian foods while others listened to some good songs at the movie theater. Later in the leg, the teams made their way to Ibadan where they experienced a rare Intersection. At the pitstop, about half the teams faced time penalties for not reading clues carefully. Because of this, Crypt and Jessie took the first place victories. However, for Emmett, the replacement was quickly a goner.
8 teams remain. Who will be eliminated next?

This one of two Fast Forwards in the entire race. The first team that completes it can skip all tasks and go directly to the pit stop. However, once a team uses the Fast Forward, that team can't go for Fast Forwards, U-Turns, or Wrong Ways in the entire race, so teams will need to decide when it's most useful to go for it.
In this Fast Forward, you will go around Lagos Island and search the area for the Fast Forward. The Fast Forward is only located in one of ten locations (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, or J). Once a team finds it, they can go directly to the pit stop.
(THE FAST FORWARD IS NOT REQUIRED)
FF. Which location do you want to go to for the Fast Forward?
(An incorrect answer will cost you 120 minutes and the chances of skipping all tasks and going directly to the pit stop)
Make your way to Bar Beach where you will find your next clue.

This is the second of two Wrong Ways in this race. If a team wishes, they can use this to swap places with another team if they (the team using this) believe they're last. If they are last, they will swap places. However, if they aren't, they will receive a time penalty based on the difference between the two times.
5. Would you like to use the Wrong Way? If so, on who?

A detour is a choice between two tasks, each with their own pros and cons. In this Detour, you must choose between searching your clue on the solid ground or by swimming into the ocean. The choice, Sand or Water.
In Sand, you will tell the host "I choose Sand." Afterwards, they will bring you to a Chatzy. Once there, you will say *digs sand* to receive a letter. Once you've received a letter, you can go digging again or say 'DONE'. Once you believe you made a long word, you will receive your next clue. The goal of this task is to make as long a word as possible.
(1st gets 0 minutes, 2nd gets 15 minutes...)
In Ocean, you will go diving in the ocean and search for a correct clue. You will do so by playing Endurance (click this link). Once you believe you have a good score, you will receive your next clue. To successfully complete this challenge, you must type your username in the search box.
(Using tinypic will give you a 30 minute penalty)
